| Information Page MarineStores are a UK based group of family run, friendly chandlers. A large and varied stock is carried in all outlets ranging from all the items needed to build or refurbish a traditional craft to the latest in high-tech paints and sealants. From Black Tar to West Epoxy. Ship building has been carried in our Maldon yard for hundreds of years, from Elizabethan men o' war to John Howards famous Thames Barges all were built on the river Blackwater. The marine heritage continues today with Maldon being a primary base for working barges although they now take charters rather than produce. We will happily send mail order items anywhere in the world. Payments accepted are cheque & Switch (UKonly) and credit card (Visa or Mastercard). About Us The chandleries are based around the east coast of England, a wonderful sailing area with many unspoilt and quiet anchorages. MarineStore supply chandlery for pleasure and commercial yachts, boat and ship owners. Tax Please note that all prices on this site are inclusive of UK VAT which is currently 17.5%. This is not charged to countries outside of the EEU. To obtain an ex-VAT price, divide the amount by 1.175. Mail Order We can ship most things to most places, some hazardous goods such as flares and some chemicals are not available on mail order outside of the UK. Please email for advice. Returns Procedure If you are unhappy with the quality of the goods or you wish to return any item. Email us for a "Returns Authorisation". we will credit your account just as soon as we have the products back, providing it is unused and in original undamaged packaging.
