Rudder Gear. We have a large selection of rudder gear, in both polished gunmetal and galvanised iron, to suit a wide range of craft from small dinghies to larger day boats and small cruisers. In all cases, except the single strap gear, the transom pintle is longer than the rudder pintle to ensure the easier attachment of the rudder to the transom. Suitable for heavier small to medium size dinghy's - Pintle diameter 8mm, inside strap length of gudgeon 100mm - pintle 64mm, inside strap width 54mm.
