Description
The Exposure OLAS Crew Tag and Band is part of a small compact smart Bluetooth man overboard system. It can be quickly, easily, and securely fastened to children, adults, pets, and valuable or important items that are at risk of falling into the water. Easy to wear, the strap can be worn like a watch or a bracelet, and the tag is easily removable and can be attached at will to trigger an alarm.
Upon arrival, please refer to the OLAS App placement restrictions instructions on your mobile device. If there is an overboard situation, the OLAS App will log the loss of the Bluetooth connection within 8 seconds, then relay the alert to all crew members that an overboard situation has occurred. The OLAS App then guides the crew to recovery, providing a clear GPS position showing where the person fell overboard and providing clear visual aid, bearing, and distance data. Easy to read and interpret in the high-pressure environment caused by falling overboard. The OLAS App also stores all the location data and times for when you radio or call 999 and speak to the Coastguard, saving vital minutes for a person in the water.
