Dome shape side power anodes that fit on to the end of the propeller, held in place by a bolt, when the anode is fitted please use the suitable adhesive such as Loctite. dome side anodes are suitable for boats used in all types of water giving superior support compared to zinc anodes in fresh or brackish water, but still giving great protection in salt water.

Anodes, typically made of metals like zinc or aluminum, are deliberately installed on the boat's hull and underwater fittings. So the anode "sacrifices" itself rather than let the sittings corrode.
