XBaseC is a Ceramic coated replacement base for XTS and XCS Clutches. Ceramic CAMS are used with ropes with blended covers, polyester with high tech fibres such as Aramis, Technora, Codura or Vectran. Ceramic coating resists the polishing and the wear caused by loaded ropes at high line speeds, allows for faster engagement on loaded lines.
