Description
The Ergofit Plus life jacket has the first spray hood system that works with the shape of the inflated bladder to reduce the risk of water inhalation as well as heat loss, achieved through improved bladder and spray hood compatibility combined with the new double halo hood construction. The hood is fully self supporting once deployed and forms a spacious cavity above the wearers face. The hood has an internal panel that will protect the wearer against spray and also doubles up as an anti glare panel. The bladder is always a step above the rest, with it's tailored shape the bladder distributes buoyancy uniquely around the wearer to maximise in water support and airway protection, even when wearing heavy clothing, Crewsaver Ergofit Plus life jackets are designed to rotate the wearer in less than 3 seconds whilst increasing the distance between waterline and airway. The shoulders have a sculpted shape that provides improved in-water mobility letting the wearer self help recovery. The Ergofit Plus 190n also has a new slimline buckle design. This quick-lock buckle makes the life jacket easy to don and accommodates the use of the single loop harness attachment point for ease of tethering. Technological collaboration between Crewsaver innovations and that of its new partner Exposure, is evident in the ErgoFit plus, the Exposure OLAS Tag, a portable crew tracking and overboard location alert system can be easily integrated into the life jacket. This model has an Hammar inflation system which will only inflate the life jacket once the water sensitive element, protected by a hydrostatic valve, is submerged in over 20cms of water thus eliminating random activation caused by moisture, rain or wave splash. A harness point, life jacket light and hood fitted as standard. All life jackets can be inflated manually and have oral tubes for additional air.
