Description
Made in the UK.
It is said that Sir Francis Drake, on hearing of the approach of the Spanish Armada, refused to set sail with the British Fleet until he had finished his game of Bowls on Plymouth Hoe. The truth was that the tide was wrong so they couldn't leave - but it makes a great story! (Later, when conditions were right, he defeated the Armada by sailing fire ships into their fleet.) This is a smaller version for playing in the living room. Each bowl is 50mm in diameter and is supplied in a storage box. The set consists of eight colour-coded bowls (blue and red) and a jack, all made from top quality injection-moulded plastic.
