57mm single carbo ratchet block with swivel and becket. low friction Carbo air blocks are a lightweight, strong and reliable block with a very high working load for safer and easier trimming. The open design and reinforced composite construction keeps weight to a minimum for a powerful performance. UV stabilised ball bearings, sheave and side-plates enhance durability. Carbo ratchet blocks allow sailors to hand-hold loaded lines offering a balance between holding power and controlled easing. Eight facets hold the line securely. The 57mm and 75mm provide precise control with an easy to use on/off switch that is accessible from both sides. For the ultimate control a switchable ratchet block can be mounted in the cockpit with a boom-mounted ratchamatic block directly above giving double holding power in heavy air and a free-running mainsheet when it's light.
