Hempel Bilge & Locker Paint Product Code: mth5112b--xv

Bilge and Locker Paint is a high opacity satin topcoat, with good water and oil resistance for bilges and lockers. For use above the waterline.

Preparation and Applications:

• Ensure all surfaces are clean, oil free and dry/li
• Clean with Surface Cleaner
• Stir all products well before use
• If over coating times are exceeded, abrade the surface and wash off with fresh water/li

On a previously coated surface:

Abrade to remove loose matter and provide a suitable key

Wash surface with fresh water and allow to dry

Apply 2 coats of Bilge and Locker Paint

Thinners can be used to assist application under certain conditions

On a previously uncoated surface:

All substrates except GRP will require a primer; Metal Primer Undercoat or Epoxy Primer Undercoat, Wood Grey Metallic Wood Primer or Epoxy Primer Undercoat/li

Apply 2 coats of Bilge and Locker Paint

Thinners can be used to assist application under certain conditions/li

Application method: Brush/ Roller/ Pad/ Spray Thinners and Tool Cleaner: Thinners No.1 (brush/ roller/ pad) up to 5%, (spray) up to 15% Coverage: 11m sq / 1L Minimum application temperature: 5 sq C- 40 sq C.
