Description
Hard Racing Boot top is a medium strength, self polishing antifouling for boot tops, a scrubbable line between the topsides and the regular antifoul. Suitable for most substrates, it provides bright clean colours and makes it a good choice for all waterline areas. Please ensure that all surfaces are suitably primed.
Preparation and ApplicationEnsure all surfaces are clean, oil free and dry Clean Well On previously coated surfaces, wet abrade to remove all loose matter and to provide a suitable key Wash surface with fresh water and allow to dry Apply 2 coats of Boot-top with an additional coat around the leading edges and other high wear areas On aluminium substrates that have not previously been antifouled, or where an existing primer is damaged, it is essential to prime with 300 microns minimum, dry film thickness, of light primer. Follow with 1 coat of underwater primer then 2 coats of Boot-top Stir all products well before use Application method brush/roller/pad/spray Thinners and tool cleaner use Coverage of 13.5m2 per litre Min application temperature of 5 degrees Celsius, 40 degrees Fahrenheit
