Description
The Ikaros buoyant orange smoke flare is used in daylight to show your location to potential rescuers in your sight if you are in distress. Producing orange smoke the flare not only draws attention to you, locating your position but indicates the direction of the wind which is invaluable to rescuers. The flare is housed in a corrosion resistant steel can, with clear and simple instructions printed on the outside. It is easily deployed by removing the lid, pulling the loop and throwing the flare overboard where it will float and produce highly visible orange smoke for up to 3 minutes. Suitable for ships, lifeboats and rafts.
