Description
The Jon Buoy Recovery Module MK6 is a comprehensive man-overboard solution designed to locate, support, and recover a person who has fallen overboard (MOB). It is recognized as a direct substitute for one traditional danbuoy, horseshoe, drogue, light, and whistle, as specified in the World Sailing Offshore Special Regulations, where two such devices would usually be required. Housed in a soft valise (a type of carrying case or bag). The valise packaging makes it particularly suitable for boats where storage space is limited and for bulkhead mounting. Designed to support the MOB comfortably out of the water, reducing the risk of hypothermia while awaiting recovery. Incorporates a harness to aid in lifting the casualty back onto the boat.
