Description
Medium Profile hatches are ideal as foredeck hatches on larger offshore yachts with a thicker acrylic window and deeper frame section than the Low Profile Hatch yet they retain the smooth modern lines. An outside handle allows opening from on deck to a full 180 degrees (provided the hatch is unlocked) and a friction lever allows the hatch to be open and self supported at any fixed angle of up to 95 degrees. Lewmar's' unique sealing system allows for quick and easy acrylic replacement. Medium Profile hatches are available in a range of sizes including the Size 54 which is the minimum size for ISO 9094 escape hatches.
