Description
The Pro-Series horizontal windlass is the classic choice with professionals worldwide and suitable for boats 30-38ft (6-11.5m). With a 100% stainless steel housing it is well protected and durable and comes supplied with push-button control and a built-in manual emergency recovery system delivering quick, easy and snag free anchoring. A redesign of the control arm, which now has a new rope guard and gypsy, works flawlessly with lead line. (This part is available to order separately as an upgrade for existing Pro-Series windlasses). DIY ready and with easy above-deck installation, the kit includes windlass, base gasket seal, fast-mounting studs, installation wrench, circuit breaker, dual-direction solenoid and rocker switch.
Also available is The Pro-Fish windlass series that has been especially designed for fishermen. It is also made of 100% 316 stainless steel but has the added benefit of an automatic freefall allowing you to pull up directly over a wreck or ledge and drop anchor with precision and speed. As with the Pro-Series, the Pro-Fish also has super quick, push button, anchor retrieval and a newly designed control arm.
