Excel D12 from Marlow's Excel Dinghy series is a lightweight, pre-stretched, 12 strand polyester rope made of bio-based Dyneema SK78. With its high strength, minimal stretch and single braid construction it is ideal for high load applications and an ideal replacement to steel wire being 8 times lighter than the wire equivalent, strength for strength, and without the possible drawbacks of metal such as corrosion, splinters or dangerous wire recoil. A coating of Marlow's ArmourCoat increases grip whilst protecting against abrasion and friction. Easily inspected, repaired and spliced it has a multitude of uses on any racing yacht for strops, lashing, purchase systems backstays and some halyards, runners, control lines etc.

Available in a White, Black, Red, Green, Lime, Beige and Pink with diameters from 2.5 - 20mm
