The Ultralite life raft has a carbon fibre wrapped aluminium cylinder giving up to 30% weight saving, compared to the traditional range of Ocean ISO life-rafts. This new fully compliant ISO life raft range with less than 24 hour pack, means that a 10 man canister liferaft now weighs little more than a traditional 4 man valise. This next generation of life-rafts offers the obvious benefits of a light weight solution for yacht designers but most importantly larger life-rafts are now easier to handle and deploy.
