will clean, lightens and restores weathered grey wood - decks, comings, strakes etc. without the need for bleaching. In only 20 minutes it gets to work, restoring the natural colour to the all wood types such as iroko, larch, mahogany, oak, pine, teak and many more! It also acts as a degreaser on tropical hardwoods, getting it ready to be coated with your chosen finish. As a cleaner, it strips away mildew, mould and pollution with ease whilst renewing wood, plastic or GRP that may have been dulled out in the elements. Incredibly hard working it also removes rust stains, neutralises any surfaces that have been stripped or deep cleaned making them ready to treat, all whilst being safe to use, harmless to plant life, biodegradable and solvent and bleach free.

Instructions for use

Wet the surface using fresh and clean water

Apply product with a synthetic brush or roller of medium or long pile, or just a brush on plastic or GRP

Scrub with a stiff nylon or synthetic brush, or for plastic and GRP a soft or medium scrubbing brush

Leave to stand for 10 to 20 minutes, if the surface begins to dry dampen with a much wider efficient application of water

Scrub the surface whilst rinsing with water, or using a pressure washer up to a maximum pressure of 60 bar

Repeat process if required

Allow to dry for 48 hours or until the moisture level required for the wood finish is met

To tackle rust stains

Wet the surface using fresh and clean water

Apply product with a stiff nylon brush and work it into the rust stain

Leave to work for a minimum of 10 minutes or until the stain is no longer

Scrub the surface with a stiff nylon scrubbing brush

Rinse thoroughly with fresh and clean water

• Surfaces may be slippery when wet. Use caution when walking on wet surfaces during application
• Please note that Owatrol will dull painted surfaces and metal fittings if it is not rinsed off quickly
