Description
Vetus NLP Waterlocks feature a dual stage construction with upper and lower chambers. They offer superior silencing over single chamber waterlocks, silencing exhaust noise with minimal back pressure. With the top chamber having a capacity to rotate through 360 degrees, installation of the exhaust assembly is greatly simplified, even in confined engine spaces.
When installing, the rotatable inlet is connected to the engine exhaust manifold with exhaust hose (Vetus exhaust hose available separately). The exhaust gases, mixed with cooling water are forced from the lower chamber to the upper chamber via a central riser tube and then through the outlet connector (also rotatable) to the top. The outlet connector is coupled to the transom connector (again, with Vetus hose available separately).
Package comes complete with 2 securing straps and mounting brackets for bulkhead or floor mounting
Nb: Vetus recommend installation of a Vetus Muffler DEMPMP40 and Gooseneck WLOCKLT40 in the exhaust line, after the NLP water lock,; for optimum silencing of exhaust noise.
