WearAndTear Pads are flexible and will wrap round most simple curves. Easy to fit and visually attractive in polished stainless steel, each Wear And Tear Pad unobtrusively protects your gelcoat surface.
Note - For corners of radius less than 1 inch, it is advisable to pre-form the WearAndTear Pad to suit the curvature of the application area. This will reduce the risk of delamination caused by the springiness of the material. Construction The WearAndTear Pads are laser cut sheets of ultra thin, flexible marine grade stainless steel supplied with the latest technology adhesive from 3M which give a great bond between substrate and pad, ready for immediate application. Each pad can be fixed semi-permanently to any flat or curved surface provided that the curvature is unidirectional so the material will not stretch to accommodate more complex shapes. Sizes Small is 6 x 2 inches or 150 x 50mm Large is 9 x 2 inches or 225 x 50mm.
