Description
The Weems and Plath Chart Correction Template enables you to keep charts updated for the safety of your crew and vessel. It contains the Region A and B IALA Maritime Buoyage symbols required for update and correction of nautical charts. Designed as a stencil for use with a fine line pen, the simple to use tool allows you to make neat and quick corrections which will become permanent part of the chart. Please use the US Nautical Chart No 1 or UK Admiralty Chart 5011 for help with symbol identification. This is an exact replica of the Chart Correction Template formerly prepared and published by the national Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA). It is advised that the Local Notice to Mariners and the Broadcast Notice to Mariners file is always checked to ensure the chart is fully updated and that a log on the chart or correction card of all the corrections that have been made is noted, which will make it easier to verify the charts correction status before it's next use.
