Description
This rigging block is specially designed to redirect ropes with a swivel head and snap shackle. It has a sheave, a grooved wheel through which the rope passes, and a head that attaches to a line or another block. The snap shackle allows for easy connection and disconnection from the line, making it convenient to adjust the rigging. The swivel head ensures that the block rotates smoothly, preventing the rope from twisting. This is particularly important when the rope is under high tension, such as when raising or lowering a sail. The block has a size of 55mm, which is a common size for single blocks and can be used in a variety of applications. It can accommodate ropes up to 12mm in diameter.
