The Nasa Marine BM-1 (BY) Bluetooth Battery Monitor is a great solution if you don't have the space for a display, or routing the cables would be a long job! This battery monitor directly monitors your boat or caravans lead-acid batteries and sends the data, wirelessly by Bluetooth, straight to your mobile phone or tablet.
Using a simple Android app, which is freely available from the nasamarine.com website or Google Play Store (requiring Android V4.3 or later), you can see your service battery voltage, the amount of current flowing in or out, the level of charge for the battery and whether it is time to recharge or discharge the batter. If the battery level gets dangerously low an audible alarm sounds to warn you! Also shown is the starter battery voltage. Apple users can download a slightly more sophisticated app, with extra features that can be purchased from the Apple app store. This app is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch and can also offer the Apple Watch App for iPhone. This requires iOS 9.0 or later.
