Designed for use in off grid solar systems the MPPT Pro charge controller from PV Logic is an excellent choice for new installations or as an upgrade to an existing system of up to 225w. With MPPT charging, it can charge two batteries simultaneously ensuring the highest possible power is achieved from any 12 or 24 volt solar panel to a 12 or 24 volt battery and with an increase of up to 20% over a standard PWM charge controller. This is done by artificially modifying the voltage coming from the panel by actively matcing it to suit what the battery, or batteries require ensuring that whatever the weather, the panels will deliver the maximum power to the batteries and with minimum of electrical loss. To protect against overcharge, the MPPT Pro concentrates power solely on Battery 1 until it is 70% charged and thereafter provides a simultaneous and equal charge to both batteries.

Bluetooth connectivity and a free to download App (both Apple or Android Apps available) ensure you can see how your system is performing at any time remotely.
