Suitable for off-grid solar systems, this PV Logic charge controller, from Solar Technology, has the added feature of being able to charge two batteries simultaneously and can work on both 12 volt and 24 volt systems with automatic recognition. Charging is optimized to extend battery life and improve system performance. Comprehensive self-diagnostics and electronic protection prevent damage caused by installation errors or system errors.
All solar panels, except the 5W and 10W, require a voltage regulator to ensure the battery does not overcharge. The 10A model is suitable for panels up to 150W and the 20A model suitable for panels up to and including 300W.
