Icom IC-M37E is the latest buoyant marine VHF handheld that is comfortable to hold with its simple easy-to-grip design. 6 watts of output power that will extend the communications range. Operating time 12hours with the standard BP-296 Li-ion battery. Buoyant with flashing red LED making it easy to spot if accidentality dropped into the water. The M37E has been built to IP57 dust and waterproof protection rating (1 Metre for 30 minutes). This radio also has a AquaQuake draining function to clear water away from the speaker grill, preventing the speaker from becoming waterlogged.
The radio is supplied with a neat little clip to keep the radio in place in moving environments, the drop charger can be powered by a mains PSU as well as a 12 volt on board Via a USB adapter socket making charging life easy.
