The Barton Size 1 range of blocks are strong and lightweight and ideal for use on dinghies and dayboats, or as lead blocks on larger craft. The range is available with either a Plain or Ball Bearing assembly. Plain Bearing Block have a pricision moulded acetal sheave, which runs on a large diameter brass bearing ensuring free running even under high loads. Ball Bearing Blocks incorporate Bartons' unique super-low friction race system, with acetal sheaves and delrin ball bearings running on a large diameter centre boss that allows more load bearing balls for low friction performance even under high loads. Size 1 blocks come with either a Fixed Eye, Fixed Eye with Clevis Pin or Swivel head and removable shackle and all the appropriate blocks are available with or without a Becket.
