The Barton Size 2 range of blocks are strong and lightweight and ideal for use on dinghies and dayboats, or as lead blocks on larger craft. The range is available with either a Plain or Ball Bearing assembly and a comprehensive range of multiple sheave options, with fiddle and cam cleat blocks allowing powerful, lightweight tackles to be acheived. Plain Bearing Block have a pricision moulded acetal sheave, which runs on a large diameter brass bearing ensuring free running even under high loads. Ball Bearing Blocks incorporate Bartons' unique super-low friction race system, with acetal sheaves and delrin ball bearings running on a large diameter centre boss that allows more load bearing balls for low friction performance even under high loads. Size 2 blocks come with either a Fixed Eye, Fixed Eye with Clevis Pin, Swivel head and removable shackle or cast Stainless Steel Snap shackle which is ideal for quick-release downhauls or vang tackles, and all the appropriate blocks are available with or without a Becket.
